JUNE 30, 2020: Family Educational Support Survey Report Released

When schools closed in March due to COVID, the Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) began hosting "Community Calls" to help support the social, emotional, and educational needs of students and their families. We invited parents, community members, organizations, and school personnel to join the discussion.

During the "Community Calls", the group decided to create a survey in order to identify areas in which the schools and the community could support students and their families district-wide.  The attached report outlines the results of this survey, which was conducted between May 9 and May 31, 2020.

This information was shared with Tantasqua & Union 61 school committees and administrators in an effort to aid in the development of upcoming hybrid and remote learning plans and/or highlight areas that need additional inquiry and attention.
